Your well-being, safety and comfort, as well as that of the people who make up the Hotel Riviera team, are our top priority.

You are the most important thing for us, that’s why we want your holiday to be perfect and safe. For this reason we have implemented a safety which outlines protocol  the actions that we carry out and that comply with the highest standards of quality and hygiene in our facilities. This protocol has been established in accordance with the recommendations of the WHO (World Health Organisation) and the Spanish Ministry of Health. however, we have gone one step further and have implemented additional measures so that you can enjoy your stay to the maximum with all the comforts and in complete safety.

The entire hotel team will ensure that guests, staff and suppliers respect the capacity limits and maintain a social distance of at least 1.5 meters between members of different family units.

The signs on the permitted capacity, safety distance, traffic flow, obligatory use of hydroalcoholic gel, obligatory use of masks, etc. must be complied with.

In accordance with prevention and safety regulations, the hotel has adopted the following measures:

  • Disinfectant mats at the entrance.
  • Information screens with the measures that the client must comply with during their stay.
  • Automatic gel dispensers for hand disinfection.
  • Access to the room by mobile phone via an app.
  • Vinyl markers on the floor and screens on the counters to ensure the correct social distance.
  • Capacity control system using cameras and information screens.
  • Automatic hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at the entrance for compulsory use both at the entrance and exit.
  • Redistribution of tables to maintain the 2-metre distance.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of tables and chairs before being used again.
  • Buffet assisted by our staff.
  • Buffet with partitions.
  • Restaurant opening and closing times to ensure proper seating and customer flow.
  • Staff equipped with hygienic masks and gloves.
  • Cleaning and sanitization carried out with appropriate disinfectant products.
  • Protocol for interaction between the client and the chambermaids.
  • Washing treatment of bed linen and towels at a temperature above 60º C.
  • Delivery of bagged towels and removal of used linen in sealed bags.
  • Rotation in the use of the rooms with an interval of 3 days after the departure of the clients.
  • Removal of items that are difficult to disinfect.
  • High frequency of disinfection and cleaning of common areas, surfaces and furniture, reinforcing areas and zones of high traffic such as lifts and corridors.
  • Automatic gel dispensers for hand disinfection.
  • Capacity control.
  • Reinforced pH and chlorine controls.
  • Continuous 24-hour purification circuits with 10% daily water renewal (as required by law).
  • Maintenance of chlorine levels at the highest levels within the limits established by the standard.
  • The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of peripheral facilities will be every hour in the spa and two hours in the pool.
  • Sun beds shall be 2 meters apart and disinfected after use.
  • Capacity control by means of cameras.
  • Tables and chairs cleaned and disinfected before being used again.
  • Consultation of the menu directly at the bar or via a QR code.
  • Vinyl markers on the floor to respect the safe distance of 2 meters.
  • Encourage payment of drinks by card.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of air-conditioning units in both rooms and common areas and increased frequency of cleaning of air filters.
  • Increasing the air renewal rate by avoiding indoor recirculation.
  • Daily checking and recording of dishwasher and washing machine temperatures to ensure maximum disinfection.

Staff receive continuous training on the new protocols, with a permanent update on the new scenario in order to ensure the well-being of our guests.

Since 20th April 2022, the use of face mask is optional for guest and members of staff.
